Preview

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is expected to ring the changes as he looks to give fringe players some game time.

Midfielders Ki Sung-Yueng and James Forrest are still out through injury.

Cillian Sheridan and Dave Mackay are doubtful for St Johnstone, along with Callum Davidson and Chris Millar, after being late withdrawals on Saturday.

Francisco Sandaza is suspended, Lee Croft is out injured, while on-loan James Keatings is unavailable to play against his parent club.

Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew : "St Johnstone have had a good season, they've been strong. They beat us at Parkhead earlier in the season.

"They're very organised and have some good players, so they'll be dangerous.

"The manager will keep everybody motivated - he's big on picking up as many points as we can.

"Everybody wants to be here next season and everyone will be playing for that."

St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas : "We want to bounce back and put in a performance against Celtic no matter what team they put out.

"That's what we will be looking for first and foremost - a reaction from Saturday.

"When you go to the Old Firm, you have got to put in a performance.

"You certainly don't go there and play badly and get a result.

"Our boys are an honest set. They will be hurting from Saturday and wanting to make amends.

"We have quite a few issues so we will have to wait to the last minute to name our team. We are a little bit in the dark."
