I had high hopes and I love watching the first episode of nearly any show, to see how the creators set up all the characters and mysteries that may last for years, but this one was really not enjoyable. One of the few TV pilot episodes I’ve abandoned halfway through.
The scenes were self-indulgent, and I’m not sure why this actress, as she did in her feature film, loves showing naked parts of her body all the time.

Below is a promo for Episode 5: “Hard Being Easy.” And it looks like we’ll pick up right where we left off — the night where Charlie and Ray “sang” Hannah’s diary out loud, revealing Marnie’s secret conflicted feelings about staying with her overly nice boyfriend.
