Further protests are planned against the Blackburn board, but on the field Rovers will be looking to see off Fulham and clamber off the foot of the table.

A disgruntled Ewood Park faithful remain strongly opposed to the Venky's regime and will once again air their disapproval this weekend.

Under-fire boss Steve Kean will be pleased to have edged out of the firing line, but he knows he still has a lot of work to do if he is to get the supporters on side.

Victory over Fulham would help his cause, with Blackburn having hit rock-bottom once again.

They have picked up just three victories this season and have dropped more points (14) from winning positions than any other side in the top flight.

Rovers have lost six of their last seven league fixtures on home soil and will become the first side to go 21 games from the start of a season without keeping a clean sheet should they be breached by the Cottagers.

These are tough times for all concerned at Ewood Park and Fulham will head to the North West hoping to take full advantage of their troubles.

Martin Jol's side are unbeaten in their last three games and have lost only one of their last five matches on the road.

Their away record as a whole is poor, though, with just four victories taken from their last 47 top flight away games.

The Cottagers have also kept just one clean sheet in their last 16 meetings with Blackburn, but in Jol they have a manager who has never tasted defeat against Rovers in seven previous outings.
