MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• Burnley have won twice as many matches as they have lost after 36 competitive meetings against Crystal Palace, prevailing in 14 and vanquished in seven.

• Burnley are unbeaten in five home league games with Palace, winning the last two.

• The Eagles have only recorded two league victories at Turf Moor, the most recent being by the odd goal in five in August 2003.

Burnley

• Burnley, the only Championship club without a game midweek, are in danger of losing four successive league matches for the second time in just under four months.

• They conceded three goals for the second match running, away to Watford last Saturday, having been 2-0 up. It was the third match this term they had lost from a winning position.

• Eddie Howe's side have found the net in seven of their last 10 league and cup games, and leading scorer Jay Rodriguez has been on the score sheet in all seven matches.

Crystal Palace

• The Eagles retained their top-half status and stretched their unbeaten run to seven games, despite only drawing 1-1 against Coventry on Tuesday night.

• It was Palace's fourth successive away draw, and makes them the joint stalemate specialists of the second flight, with 12 of their 34 games finishing level.

• This match pits two of the three youngest managers in the Championship each other. Dougie Freedman is 37; Eddie Howe 34.
