Preview

Gareth Bale has recovered from illness and looks set to start Tottenham's FA Cup fifth-round replay with Stevenage.

Midfielder Scott Parker is also available after serving a one-game suspension in Sunday's Premier League defeat by Manchester United.

William Gallas could feature against the League One side after two months out with a calf injury.

But Ledley King will be rested, Rafael van der Vaart (calf) is doubtful and Tom Huddleston (ankle) is out.

Stevenage earned what will be a lucrative replay with a spirited performance to hold Harry Redknapp's side to a draw at the Lamex Stadium on 19 February.

And Redknapp has warned his players that they cannot afford to be complacent as they look to set up a quarter-final tie against Bolton.

"If our players are expecting an easy night they will come unstuck," Redknapp said. "Over the years we have been involved in these sort of games enough to know that the Stevenage players will find another two yards of pace.

"They will be up for it. It will be a tough game and we have to make sure we are ready for that and be at our best."

The winners are at home in the last eight, and Redknapp feels his side are within touching distance of a Wembley semi-final in a competition in which Spurs have a proud pedigree, but which they have not won for more than 20 years.

"We are at home against Stevenage and have a home draw in next round so we really want to take the opportunity that we have been given," Redknapp added.

"I would love to get to the final and to win with Tottenham. It would be great. It's a great opportunity for us."
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• The goalless draw in the original tie at the Lamex Stadium was the first ever meeting of these clubs.

• The winners of this replay will be home to Bolton in the quarter-finals on Saturday 17 March (17:30 kick off).

Tottenham Hotspur

• The 2010 semi-finalists lifted the trophy for the eighth time in 1991, and have qualified for the quarter-finals in six of the last 13 seasons.

• The third most successful club in FA Cup history have lost just one of their last 34 matches against lower league clubs. The exception was Leicester in the third round in 2007.

• Harry Redknapp's side, who have not won in three and have shipped eight goals in two Premier League games, have not yet conceded in this season's FA Cup, and have not lost in eight FA Cup matches at the Lane, winning the most recent four.

Stevenage

• The only remaining League One representatives and the lowest-ranked survivors are chasing a fifth successive away win in the competition.

• They are without victory in five league and cup games (D3, L2), but have not conceded a single goal in their five matches on this club record FA Cup run.

• The only Premier League club they have knocked out in FA Cup history was Newcastle in last season's third round.
