Preview

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock has the luxury of selecting from an unchanged squad for the third game running as Nottingham Forest visit Elland Road.

Defenders Alex Bruce (hamstring) and Leigh Bromby (knock) are nearing a return but will not feature on Tuesday.

Forest could have defenders Danny Higginbotham and George Elokobi available after both missed last week's loss to Derby with hamstring injuries.

Striker Marcus Tudgay is banned after being sent off at Pride Park.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• Just one win separates these clubs after 84 competitive matches. Leeds have won 28, Nottingham Forest 27, with 29 all square.

• Leeds put four goals past Forest for the second successive time when they powered to a 4-0 triumph four months ago. The Whites last registered same season home and away victories over Forest in 1971/72, when they racked up an 8-1 aggregate score from the two top-flight games.

• Forest have failed to take maximum points off these opponents in 11 attempts subsequent to April 1996, when they recorded a 3-1 Premier League victory at Elland Road.

Leeds United

• Leeds held West Ham to a 1-1 stalemate at the weekend. It was their third draw in five games, and means they have avoided defeat in five of their last six to stand four places and five points outside the top six.

• The Whites have scored three goals in five outings under Neil Warnock.

• They are yet to keep a clean sheet at Elland Road in 2012, and have only managed two home shut-outs in this entire Championship campaign.

Nottingham Forest

• Nottingham Forest, the only inactive Championship club over the weekend, may have won just one of their last four, but three victories in six sees them two places and four points above the danger line, with 10 to play.

• Steve Cotterill's side ended on the wrong end of a 1-0 score in their last away game at local rivals Derby, when Marcus Tudgay got his marching orders. The Rams were the fifth club to do the double over them and will be keen to prevent Leeds from becoming the sixth.

• No club has lost more times in this Championship campaign than Forest's 21, but they are the only club in the division to have conceded as many as five fewer goals on their travels than at home.
