Hearts are set to again be without winger David Templeton , while midfielder Scott Robinson is a doubt for the meeting with St Mirren.

Midfielder Paul McGowan returns from suspension for St Mirren, while Graham Carey is fit again following a recent thigh injury.

David Barron has shrugged off a knock and inger Dougie Imrie is cup-tied.

St Mirren skipper Jim Goodwin admits he's keen to put a Hampden cup tie on his CV.

St Mirren manager Danny Lennon : "The cup means a lot to the Paisley fans. You look back at the wonderful year of 1987 and it would be great to achieve the stature which that group of players and management hold within the club.

"This is my third quarter-final since I took over as manager here and I want to go that step further. I would like to experience the Hampden atmosphere.

"We didn't do ourselves justice at Tynecastle," he said.

"We we were 2-1 up and then self-destructed with them down to 10 men.

"But we have learned a lot about ourselves since that day and we stopped being as expansive as what we had been.

"That was basically the start of us being more or less undefeated."

Hearts manager Paulo Sergio : "Hampden's a fantastic stadium, very nice.

"I had an opportunity to see the pitch and it's going to be great if we're going to be there.

"But, for that, we have to beat St Mirren.

"Forget the 5-2 game. It's another game and we should be focused and at our best level to go through."
